Don't Do It!

Changing your mail transport agent isn't exactly practicing safe computing. On almost any site, mail is a major application and on some sites (like mine!) the #1 application.

Replacing your current software will teach you about the idiosyncrasies of your old software, the new software, your non-MTA mail software (MUAs, mailing list managers, ...) and your users.

You can also expect your neighbours to notice the change.

Finally, you will lose 3-5 days of time for planning, implementation and support.
